Citizens Police Academy seeking applicants

The West Fargo Police Department is now accepting applications for the fall session of the Citizens Police Academy. Classes will begin on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. and continue weekly through December 15.

This program is designed to increase the understanding between the West Fargo Police Department and the citizens served. Topics will include: Drug Enforcement, SWAT, Traffic Stops, Firearms, Registered Offenders, Ride Alongs and much more.

The class is free to participants and applicants must be at least 20 years of age.
