Clark retired as principal after a 40-year career in the district, following the 2010-11 school year. He will be filling the slot vacated earlier this summer by Dr. Cory Steiner.

Since Clark is not able to serve the district in a full time capacity, an additional person will be named to assist in the administrative duties during this transitional year. That decision will be made in the coming weeks.

At the meeting Monday, Clark, along with current WFHS Assistant Principals Dan Holder, Holly Ripley and Ryan Stewart, expressed their commitment to continue the work that began last year, Along with the support of the teachers.

A process for hiring a permanent principal for the high school for the start of the 2013-14 school year, will be rolled out, along with the normal hiring processes, after the first of the year.
