Edwin A. Clemenson

Email

Edwin A Clemenson, 92, West Fargo, died Friday July 8, 2011, at ManorCare Health Services in Fargo.

Edwin was born June 5, 1919, to Oscar and Mary (Anderson) Clemenson. He attended school in Horace, N.D. He worked on the family farm as well as other farms in the Horace area. He also worked construction, doing roofs and carpentry. He then went to work for American Crystal Sugar until he retired in the early 1980's. Edwin was also in the armed services, with an early medical discharge and was a volunteer police officer. Edwin was a very hard worker who instilled his work ethic in his children. He believed in the old-fashioned values where a handshake meant a contract. He was raised with both Lutheran and Baptist values and those who knew him would say that Edwin loved his family and would do anything for them. Edwin married Lillian Thompson June 15, 1947 and from that union, nine children were born. They lived in Horace, and moved to West Fargo, in the 1970's. Edwin married Gloria Hedrich on May 10, 1996 and continued to live in West Fargo.
