Exhibit opening, artist reception at Bonanzaville
Bonanzaville will hold an exhibit opening and artist reception for their juried art exhibit, “Prairie Expressions” on Nov. 16, 7 to 9 p.m.
The exhibit will feature works from local artists that depict the life, history or heritage of the Red River Valley. Entry into the art show was open to all artists and works of art could be any form of media. A panel of respected area artists will help judge the entries. Prizes will be awarded for the top three pieces of art as well as for peoples’ choice.
Visitors to the Prairie Expressions exhibit will see works of art from professional and amateur artists featuring photographs, paintings, and sculptures. Visitors will be asked to vote for their favorite work of art in the exhibit. The one with the most votes will win the Peoples’ Choice Award which includes a small cash prize.
Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Members can attend the opening reception for free. The cost for non-members will be $5.
