Fair to host 5K Dino Dash, Minnow Races

The Red River Valley Fair is excited to announce its newest contests - The 5K Dino Dash and Minnow Races. The 5K Dino Dash begins at 9 a.m., Saturday, July 10, at Bonanzaville and the Minnow Races will be held in the Miller Lite Beer Garden at 7 p.m.

Fair General Manager Bryan Schulz said "We are very excited to team up with Beyond Running to put on the Dino Dash. This event is open to everyone; hurry and register before it fills up!"

Registration fee before July 10 is $20 and $25 the day of the Dino Dash. Registration will be begin at 7:30 a.m. in front of Bonanzaville on Saturday, July 10. Runners will receive free gate admission, a race T-shirt, and party with FM 105.1 and Froggy. New to the Fair are the Minnow Races, which will be held Friday, July 9; Saturday, July 10; Thursday, July 15; and Friday, July 16 in the Miller Lite Beer Gardens. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. with races starting at 7 p.m. The contest will consist of a 16-bracket, double elimination event. There is no fee to enter and prizes will be provided. Participants must be 21-years of age or older to enter.
