Fire breaks out at house under construction in West Fargo

A small fire broke out Wednsday at a home under construction in Fargo.

The Fargo Fire Department responded to the report of a fire at 5087 Woodhaven St. around 9 p.m.

A passer-by noticed flames in the house and reported the fire. Fire officials said the home was under construction and no one was living there at the time, but the owners planned to move into the house in about a week.

The house sustained some fire damage and smoke damage on the first floor.

No one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
