The shoot out is a competition that involves shooting goals from the penalty spot and trying to score in the top corner (worth 20 points), the bottom corner (worth 10 points), or the middle of the goal area (worth 5 points). The winners had to go through three qualifying rounds before earning their spot in the state shoot out, which was held at the WFSC Scheels fields in West Fargo.

The players will have their final scores compared against other states and countries, and toward the end of the year an international winner will be named in each age group.

While Sean Fenelon, Yanick Tade and Zach Tang dominated the younger ages in the boys division, Tianna Daniels was the only girl from West Fargo in the state championship race.

Congratulations to State Champions,  Daniels 10-year-old Girls, Sean Fenelon 11-year-old Boys, Tang 12-year-old Boys, and Tade 13-year-old Boys.
