As part of the effort in doing so, they are teaming up with pet shelters to find forever homes for animals by hosting a community wide Spring Fling Pet Adoption Day, featuring dogs and cats available for adoption from local animal shelters and rescue centers.

The Spring Fling event is scheduled for Sunday April 29, from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Girl Scout Dakota Horizon office, 1002 43rd St. S., Fargo.

There will be at least four animal Rescue Groups at the event along with personnel from Two Rivers Veterinarian Clinic. Mr. Hager, a pet trainer, will also be in attendance to answer any questions people may have. Other features of the event will include information, demonstrations, and door prizes from local pet trainers, groomers, and pet stores.

Admission is free.
