Hasan qualifies for national bee

Danyal Hasan, a 7th grader at Cheney Middle School's STEM Center in West Fargo, has qualified for the National Geographic Bee at the state level in North Dakota. Danyal won the school-wide Geographic Bee this past January. He then completed a qualifying test to advance to the state level. Danyal will compete at the University of Mary in Bismarck on March 30. The state winner will go on to compete at the national level in Washington D.C. this May. This is a National Geographic Sponsored event.
