Hats off to event organizers

The West Fest budget was released to City Commissioners Monday night revealing organizers did an excellent job of running the show resulting in a minimal profit that will now carryover to next year.

Credit was expressed where credit is due with City Administrator Jim Brownlee praising those involved, in particular Larry Lubben, who devoted countless hours to helping mold the event into the best it could possibly be for the second year running.

Statements used to sum up Lubben's contributions included: "outstanding job," and "great taskmaster."

Fitting praise for a job well and here's hoping he's willing to lead the charge again next year.
