On Monday, former editor of the West Fargo Pioneer, Karen Huber, received a small token of appreciation from Post Quartermaster Bill Tuff and Post Commander Jamie Olson at the West Fargo VFW.

“We wanted to thank Karen for all of the wonderful work she’s done for the post, veterans and the community all of these years while she worked at the Pioneer,” Tuff said. “She’s been a wonderful, caring compassionate lady.”

Huber received a thank you note, card and small stipend from the organization.

“I worked with the West Fargo VFW for many years trying to help promote in any way I can. The organization is very important to me given the fact my husband was in the military,” Huber said. “I respect everything this great organization is involved with and am proud of my association and membership.”
