Mark Jensen was recently promoted to Vice President/Credit Department Manager, at Western State Bank, West Fargo. He will continue his role overseeing the Credit Department, as well as finding the best product solutions for businesses, assisting in the management of portfolio risk, and serving as a primary lending resource with an emphasis on the commercial loan portfolio. Jensen has over 15 years of banking experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, training, and credit review. He has been with Western since 2006.
Originally from Dickinson, N.D., Jensen graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Economics from North Dakota State University, Fargo; and also earned his Masters of Business Administration degree from NDSU.
Jensen actively serves as a board member for both the American Red Cross and the Risk Management Association (RMA), and is also an active volunteer with Junior Achievement. He and wife, Charity, reside in Fargo with their four daughters, Madison, Sydney, Grace and Samantha.
