More than 100 injured in Hoboken, N.J., train crash

Joint concert at West Fargo High School Sunday

"Fargo-Moorhead's Best-Kept Secret," The Lake Agassiz Concert Band, will team up with the F-M Golden Notes Band to present a concert on Sunday, March 6, at 3 p.m., in the West Fargo High School Theater.

Among the program pieces will be "Flourish for Wind Band" by Ralph Vaughan Williams, "Miniature Set for Band" by Donald White, and "Marche Salutation" by Roland Seitz.

The Lake Agassiz Concert Band is comprised of more than 60 area musicians and is under the direction of Dr. John Tesch, director of bands and professor of low brass at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The F-M Golden Notes New Horizon Band is comprised of more than 40 retired and semi-retired adult musicians and is under the direction of Dr. Ed Christianson, retired band director at Fargo North High School.

Support for the Lake Agassiz Concert Band is provided by the cities of Fargo and Moorhead through the Lake Agassiz Arts Council and by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council with funding from the McKnight Foundation

The concert is free and open to the public.
