National Library Week is coming April 10-16. The library will be celebrating by offering "fine amnesty." Late fees will be waived for any overdue items returned during the week.

Special Events:

Early Garden Workshop: Thursday, March 31, 7 to 8 p.m. Plant a seedling and take it home, start your garden early. All supplies and seeds provided. Open to all ages. Sign-up at the service desk or call 433-5460 (required).

Health and Medical Research: Thursday, March 31, 6:30 p.m. Opinions regarding health and wellness are a dime a dozen. For credible, reliable information, turn to the professionals. You can access free, legitimate medical information through the library. Learn how to locate and navigate the library's health databases. Sign-up at the service desk or call 433-5460 (required).

Crochet Jewelry: Monday, April 4, 7 to 8 p.m. Create earrings and /or a bracelet. Sign-up at the service desk or call 433-5460 (required).

Regular Events:

Genealogy: Saturday, April 2, 12 to 4 p.m. Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help explore family histories. Take your projects or just ask questions.

Knitty Giddy: Tuesday, April 5, 6:30 p.m. If you are an experienced knitter, take along your projects and knit; if you are a new knitter, take your size 8 to size 10 needles and a skein of yarn and you will receive help getting started. Fun, relaxed group.

Ham Radio Group: Wednesday, March 30, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Open to adults interested in learning about ham radio.

Storytime: Thursday, March 31, 6:30 p.m., Clifford visits the library; Tuesday, April 5, 1:30 p.m., Biscuit Tales; Thursday, April 7, 6:30 p.m., Puppy Tales.

Friday Morning Movie: April 1, 10:30 a.m., "Pinocchio." A wooden puppet, who's only wish is to be a real boy, must prove himself worthy before his wish comes true. (Rated G, Disney, 88 min)

Saturday Movie Mania: April 2, 2 p.m., "Robin Hood." An outlaw and his friends battle the evil Prince as he defends the English poor.  (Rated G, Disney, 83 min)

Upcoming Events:

Egg - Stravaganza: Saturday, April 9, 12:30 to 2 p.m. Take the family to the library for an egg hunt, an egg craft, and an egg story. All ages welcome.

Picture Yourself at the Library: Monday, April 11, 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 12, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Make a picture frame and get your picture taken with your favorite book. Hear a terrific story, too.

Friends of the Library Book Sale: Saturday, April 16, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fill a bag for $5 ($7 for non-members) or buy books individually for $1 (two children's books for $1). Plenty of used books, audiobooks, and movies at bargain prices.
