Special Events:

 Paper Quilling- Winter Days - Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 7 to 8 p.m.

Celebrate Winter Days at this craft event!  All supplies are included. (Instructor: Tammy Kapaun) Registration is required by calling the library or stopping by the library’s service desk.

 Friendship Bracelets-Winter Days - Monday, January 20, 2014 at 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Bring in the “New Year”.  Make “new” friends but keep the old.  Create unique braided bracelets.  Simple, easy, fun, and free!  All supplies provided.

 West Fargo:  Looking Back, Looking Forward - This exhibit features an illustrated timeline of the history of West Fargo and includes a few peeks at what lies ahead. Visit the exhibit (upper level of the Library) during Library hours.

 Tech Class - Intro to Computers - Monday, January 20, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.

This class is geared toward people with ZERO computer experience.  By the end of the class, you will be able to: log in and out of the computer, open up programs and browse the internet.

Genealogy - Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Are you ready to explore your family’s history?  We’ll help!  Bring your projects or just ask questions! 

Knitty Giddy Group - Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.

Do you like to crochet or knit? This adult group invites adults to join them anytime! Bring your own supplies. Lots of help for new crafters and those who need a refresher.

 Ham Radio Operators-RRRA - Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 6:45 p.m.

Explore your creative side and enrich your afternoon. Make a simple craft at the library. This program is open to all adults and no registration is required.

Friday Morning Movie – Happiness is Peanuts - Friday, January 17, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.

It is cold outside. Please join us as we bring the delightful short stories of a boy, his friends, and a black and white dog.  We will discover the joys of winter together. (Rated G) 

Simply Stories - Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10:15 a.m.

Bring your little ones to the library and enjoy two stories! This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers. Unlike our regular storytimes, this program is just stories – no crafts. If you’re looking for stories and simple make-and-take crafts, come to the library Tuesdays at 1:30 or Thursdays at 6:30.

Storytime - Welcome to the wonderful world of stories & make-and-take crafts! Story times are geared for preschool through 1st grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but if your group is larger than 5, please call ahead so we have enough crafting supplies. 701.433.5460
