Little Red River Band to perform at Elmwood Park
The Park District is promoting a performance by The Little Red River Band on Monday, July 29, at 7 p.m. at North Elmwood Park in West Fargo. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy an evening of patriotic music in a beautiful park setting.
The "Little Red River Band" (LRRB) is a small ensemble comprised of members of the Red River Valley Veterans Concert Band. The LRRB was started in 2003 as an opportunity for the musicians to play more often, perform different styles of music and have a good time. While the LRRB currently performs mostly Dixieland music, plans are to add traditional dancing music, like polkas, waltzes, etc., as well as other music styles to expand performance opportunities. The band strives to provide a quality performance for all types of events in the surrounding areas.
Take a lawn chair. Free root beer floats will be served.
