Local residents and businesses may help those less fortunate in the community by bringing in items to the Edward Jones branch office at 205 Sheyenne St., Suite 1, West Fargo, during regular business hours from now to September 30.
"We're asking West Fargo and surrounding area residents to donate school supplies or volunteer their time," said branch manager Matthew De Vries. "These donations can add value, as one more student will be provided with the appropriate tools to begin or continue his or her learning and development."
The items needed for the school supply drive include: most needed - new backpacks, highlighters, one inch binders and notebooks, scissors, pencil boxes/pouches; other supplies - #2 pencils, colored pencils, markers, pens, erasers, lose leaf paper, folders, crayons (24 count), white glue, glue sticks, tissues, rulers, etc.
