Matthew De Vries and Sarah Nikle, Edward Jones financial advisors in West Fargo, are supporting School Supply Donation Campaign by using their offices as drop-off locations for a school supplies drive.
Local residents and businesses may help by bringing in items to the Edward Jones branch offices during regular business hours from May 29 to Aug. 31.
"We're asking West Fargo and surrounding area residents to donate school supplies or volunteer their time," De Vries said. "These donations can add value as one more student will be provided with the appropriate tools to begin or continue his or her learning and development."
The items needed for the school supply drive include: most needed - new backpacks, highlighters, one-inch binders and notebooks, scissors, pencil boxes/pouches; other supplies - No. 2 pencils, colored pencils, markers, pens, erasers, loose leaf paper, folders, crayons (24 count), white glue, glue sticks, tissues, rulers, Scotch tape, duct and masking tape, etc.
