March 15 now a student contact day

In light of the successful teacher contract negotiations, a change to the 2009-10 school calendar will occur.

With this new agreement, the number of professional development days for staff members has been reduced from five to four. Thus, one of the days originally slated as a professional development day will be changed to a student contact day.

Monday, March 15, will now be a day that students are expected to be at school.
