RRVF held a contest with the Red River Valley elementary schools in search of the dairy cow's name. More than 200 students participated in the contest and 12 students chose the winning name, Daisy. Shelbi Keller, Moorhead, Minn., won the contest.

"We enjoy having contests the elementary students can enter and feel they contributed to the Red River Valley Fair," said Jodi Buresh, RRVF Assistant General Manager.

Buresh traveled around Fargo-Moorhead to deliver prizes to the 12 students who chose Daisy.

Daisy will be assisting the MDA at the FM RedHawks game June 12. Fairgoers also can see Daisy at the Red River Valley Fair on July 9-17, in the Cass County Farm Bureau's Ag Education Center.
