Private First Class Connor Hennen of West Fargo has completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training for the North Dakota Army National Guard.
Hennen attended Basic Combat Training for 10 weeks at Fort Sill, Okla. and then continued on to Advanced Individual Training for which consisted of military occupational schooling, which was at Fort Rucker, Ala., graduating Nov 2.
Prior to his training, Hennen was assigned to the Recruit Training Company in Fargo, which prepared him for his military training by learning basic combat and Soldier tasks. Since the completion of his training, Hennen has been assigned to Company A 1-112th Aviation Regiment in Bismarck as an Aviation Operations Specialist (15P).
Hennen’s parents are Jeff and Dina Hennen of West Fargo. He is a a 2013 graduate of West Fargo High School, and will be attending North Dakota State University for Computer Engineering.
