Andrea Johnson recently enlisted with the North Dakota Air National Guard. Upon completion of basic and technical training she will serve with the 119th Wing in Fargo. She is a 2009 graduate of West Fargo High School and is currently attending North Dakota State University.
The North Dakota Air National Guard's mission is to provide well disciplined, highly trained and equipped professional forces to the United States Air Force and the governor to defend our nation and state from any threats to the safety and well-being of our citizens. The North Dakota Air National Guard, better known as the Happy Hooligans, is recognized as one of the best Air Guard units in the country and recently completed 70,000 accident free flying hours. The unit is the only Air National Guard unit to win the prestigious Hughes Trophy twice for being the most outstanding air to air fighter unit in the USAF. The unit has been awarded the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award thirteen times.
Johnson is daughter of Sandy and Brad Johnson of West Fargo.
