Zahra and Sameersingh Raney, Fargo, are the parents of a daughter, Sophia, born April 15 at 7:50 a.m., at Essentia Health. She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Sophia joins a sister, Arianna. Grandparents are Gulu H. and JoAnn Raney, Mumbai, India, and Shiraz and Dilsad Dhanji, Vancouver, British Columbia.
