If the first week of the Packers’ soccer season proved anything, it is that this team can play defense.

The team played with Fargo Shanley to a scoreless draw on Tuesday, April 30, before beating Grand Forks Central 2-0 on Thursday.

Packer goalkeeper Amy Archibald was the star of Tuesday’s game, stopping all 22 shots she faced.

The second game’s goals came from sophomore Allison Enno and junior Justine Sandoval, both in the first half.

The 1-0-1 Packers head to Fargo Davies on Tuesday to face the eagles in a 7 p.m. game.
