Packers dominate season opener
Any lingering preseason questions regarding the West Fargo boys' basketball team's lack of size and inexperience were answered - for one game anyway - as the Packers pounded Bismarck St. Mary's 84-42 at home in its season opener.
The Packers were able to double St. Mary's scoring total last Friday by putting points on the board by running through the Saints' defense on the fast break. When they weren't doing that, they were feeding Seth Dye down low. The junior had 15 points and eight rebounds and was able to get the ball back out when he was double teamed and without a good look at the basket. The Packers' head coach wants to see even more.
