Pedestrian hit by Humvee Friday in West Fargo

A pedestrian who was run-over by a Humvee Friday night in West Fargo has been hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.

At 7:17 p.m. Friday, West Fargo officers responded to the report of a Humvee running over a pedestrian at 600 Block and 2nd Ave.

Officer Joe Birrenkott said the pedestrian is in hospital care, and the incident is under investigation.

The victim and driver's names are currently unavailable. Police do not believe alcohol was involved.

A Humvee is a military-designed all-terrain vehicle; the domestic version is known as a Hummer.
