SAUERKRAUT AND WIENERS

14 - 16 ounce can of sauerkraut, drained

1 small onion, diced

1/2 cup bacon chips or 1/4 pound bacon, cut in small pieces

1/2 cup water

1/2 pound wieners, cut in small pieces

Combine the above ingredients and simmer for about 30 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes or knepfla. A German favorite!
