Shive to perform in Jamestown College play "Anything Goes"
Jamestown College student Jordan Shive of West Fargo is performing in the Jamestown College production of "Anything Goes," Nov. 5-7, at 7:30 p.m. nightly, in the Reiland Fine Arts Center's DeNault Auditorium. Shive plays the role of Henry T. Dobson.
In the show, Billy Crocker stows away aboard the S. S. American to pursue Hope Harcourt, who is less than enthusiastic about her engagement to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Assisted by his showgirl pal, Reno Sweeney, and a two-bit gangster, Moonface Martin, Billy finds several outlandish ways to get close to his love. The show includes many of Cole Porter's most popular tunes such as "You're the Top," "It's De-lovely," "Anything Goes," "Blow, Gabriel, Blow," and "I Get a Kick Out of You."
Tickets are $10 and can be reserved by contacting the box office at (701) 252-3467 ext. 2435, visiting www.jc.edu and clicking on "Community" and "Reiland Box Office," or by sending e-mail to email@example.com.
