Steckel (Wilton) boat ramp closed temporarily

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department and Burleigh County Park Board are closing Steckel (Wilton) boat ramp along the Missouri River beginning Aug. 10 for major reconstruction.

Plans include replacing the existing, deteriorated ramp with a poured 20 foot wide concrete ramp. The new ramp will be a major improvement over the existing ramp.

The project will be completed around Sept. 1.
