Tonight's Powerball jackpot of $250 million is largest since March 2008

Brisk sales have boosted the estimated jackpot for tonight's Powerball drawing to $250 million, the largest Powerball jackpot since March 15, 2008, according to lottery officials.

If someone wins, it would be the 10th largest jackpot in Powerball history.

The cash option is an estimated $124.8 million.

Tickets can be purchased until 9 p.m. at any lottery retailer.
