Triple C hosts Open Horse Show Sunday

The Triple "C" 4-H club is having their annual Open Horse Show on Sunday, May 11, starting at 9 a.m. at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo. The event is the first open horse show held at the Fairgrounds this year.

Competitors of all ages can enter the show, with age divisions, 12 and under walk trot, 12 and under, 13-18, 19 and over, plus some 13 and over walk trot classes. The events include showmanship, bareback equitation, leadline (6 and under) horsemanship, western pleasure, trail, English pleasure, egg and spoon, barrels, pole bending, keyhole, flag race, and figure eight. All events will cost $4 each. Keep in mind that the egg and spoon event is timed. All horses must have proof of a negative coggins test dated within one year of the day of the show.
