Weber Benefit set for Sunday at Grazies
A benefit for the family of freshman Charley Weber, who suffered a brain injury in a snowmobile accident, has been set for Sunday at Grazies Italian Grill (2000 44th St. S, Suite 102) in Fargo.
The accident occurred on New Year’s Eve. Weber’s injury came despite the fact that he was wearing a helmet. He continues outpatient rehab and is hoping to return to school in the near future.
The Weber family plays a vital role in the West Fargo school system. Charley is a student at the Sheyenne 9th Grade Center. His mother, Michelle, is the Principal at the West Fargo STEM Center where his sister, Shelby, attends sixth grade. His father Jeff is a Phy. Ed. teacher at Cheney Middle School.
A spaghetti dinner and silent auction will be held at Grazies from 5 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 3. The suggested donation is $10 for adults and $5 for students, children under 6 are free.
Those unable to attend the benefit that still wish to donate can drop off or mail a donation (payable to Charley Weber Benefit Fund) to: Bremer Bank, 1444 45th St. S., Fargo, N.D. 58103. Online donations can be made at dakmed.org/lendahand. Click on “Donate” and enter the gift amount next to the “Charley Weber Benefit Fund.” Any donations made at the Bremer Bank will be matched up to $5,000 through the Dakota Medical Foundation.
