West Fargo Public Works requiring sump pumps to be discharged outside

West Fargo's waste water system is being stressed by storm water being discharged into the sanitary sewer by sump pumps.

The City is requiring all sump pumps be discharged outside and not into the sanitary sewer. All sump pump variances expired on March 31, 2011.
