West Fargo teen injured in crash

North Dakota Highway Patrol said a 17-year-old from West Fargo was injured this afternoon in a crash at Interstate 94 and Veterans Boulevard in Fargo.

The crash happened about 2:45 p.m.

According to the Highway Patrol:

The 17-year-old lost control of his vehicle at the bottom of an interstate ramp and slid into the path of an eastbound semi.

The semi struck the vehicle on the driver's side door in a T-bone crash.

The semi driver, Henry Ford, 57, of Merced, Calif., was not injured.

The teen was taken to Essentia Health in Fargo with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
