Western State Bank recently donated $2,500 to the Roger Maris Cancer Center a division of Sanford Health in Fargo after sponsoring "Pizza for a Purpose" on August 17, at the bank's Fargo location in the Western Center next to Target to earn funds for the center. Freewill donations were received and matched dollar-for-dollar from Western. Hundreds of people attended the event and made generous donations.
"The Roger Maris Cancer Center helps so many people in this community and throughout the region. Our hope is that this donation will help a cancer patient, survivor, family member, or aid in future cancer treatment research. We are grateful to have such an excellent facility right here in our community," said Brad Jacobson, President of Western State Bank.
