Youth Air Rifle Classes offered in January

Youth Air Rifle Classes will take place at the Mapleton Community Center during several sessions in January as part of the Outdoor Skills program offered by the NDSU/Cass County Extension 4-H Youth Development program.

This beginning level class is open to all youth ages nine and older. Youth will practice proper shooting techniques, safety rules, range procedures, marksmanship skills and techniques of safe gun handling. Equipment is supplied. Certified Shooting Sports Instructors will be conducting the four-week training series. Class size is limited. 

Classes are scheduled from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays, January 7, 14, 21 and 28; and from 1 to 3 p.m. on the same dates.

Advanced registration with payment is required by Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. Cost is $16 payable to Cass County 4-H. The Mapleton Community Center is located in Mapleton , seven miles west of West Fargo on I-94, Exit 338.
