Scarr has book review published in national publication

Carrie Scarr, an assistant director at the West Fargo Library, has had her first book review published in Library Journal. Library Journal is a bi-monthly published magazine, read by library directors, administrators, and library staffs across the country. In its 132nd year of publication, it is considered to be the oldest and most respected publication covering the library field.

Scarr responded to an advertisement posted in the magazine seeking someone interested in writing book reviews. Her resume was accepted, and she was asked to write a review for a book by Ellyssa Kroski, titled "Keeping up with Web 2.0."

Her review was published in the April 15, 2008 issue of Library Journal.

Scarr moved to West Fargo in September, where she accepted a full-time position as assistant director at the West Fargo Library. She completed her masters degree in library science from the University of North Dakota last summer.
