Two men flown to Fargo hospital after crash; driver cited with DUI

LAMOURE, N.D. – Two men were hospitalized in Fargo and one of them was cited for DUI following a rollover crash shortly after midnight Wednesday, Oct. 11, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

A 1989 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by 32-year-old Skylar Juelke, of LaMoure, was southbound “at a high rate of speed” on LaMoure County Road 61, a paved road 7 miles north of LaMoure, the patrol said.

Juelke drifted off the road into the west ditch and struck a field approach, sending the truck into the air before it rolled, the patrol said.

The driver and passenger, 21-year-old Hunter Haakenson, of Marion, were ejected from the truck. They were not wearing seat belts, the patrol said.

Juelke and Haakenson were each flown to a Fargo hospital. Their conditions were not known.

Juelke was cited with DUI, the patrol said.
