45th Street interchange traffic in Fargo to be switched Friday
FARGO - The North Dakota Department of Transportation will switch traffic flow Friday at the 45th Street interchange project in Fargo.
Traffic will be moved from the west side of the bridge to the newly constructed east side.
Crews will continue to widen the west side between the ramps and remainder of the bridge. Two southbound lanes and one northbound lane will be open on the east side.
A portion of the southwest off-ramp left-turn lane will be reconstructed during this time, but traffic will be maintained on the off-ramp and motorists will still be able to turn left.
The southeast ramp will be reopened so motorists traveling north on 45th Street onto eastbound I-94 will be able to turn right onto the southeast ramp.
The newly constructed northeast loop ramp will be open. Motorists traveling north on 45th Street will be able to access westbound I-94 by turning right onto the loop ramp instead of turning left across the intersection.
While traffic is shifting, motorists should expect delays as crews relocate cones and signals.
