Injured parties identified in West Fargo rollover accident

WEST FARGO - The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified three people injured in a rollover accident early today on Interstate 94 in West Fargo.

The driver, Elizabeth Rushton, 21, of West Fargo, and her passengers, Jennifer Jordan, 38, of Fargo, and Cynthia Rushton, 48, of Frazee, Minn., were ejected from the vehicle and taken by ambulance to Essentia Health in Fargo.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, the patrol stated in a news release.

The women were returning to the Fargo-Moorhead area from Enderlin, N.D., at about 1:40 a.m. when the vehicle went off a curve on eastbound I-94, crossed the median and the westbound lanes and hit the ditch, rolling several times.

Alcohol appears to have been a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation, the news release stated.
