Snowmobile rider flown to hospital after crash south of Fargo
CASS COUNTY, N.D. — A 23-year-old man was injured in a snowmobile crash Monday, Dec. 18, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's deputies responded to the crash shortly after 5:30 p.m. in rural Fargo off South University Drive near 112th Avenue South.
After emergency crews arrived, the driver was airlifted to the hospital with unknown injuries, the sheriff's office said in a news release. The driver's name was not released.
Investigators believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash "based off initial observation on scene," the sheriff's office said.
The driver was wearing a helmet, and no arrests have been made, according to the sheriff's office, which continues to investigate the crash.
