Freeman makes Bryan College dean’s list

West Fargo High School graduate Brooke Freeman was named to the dean’s list at Bryan College of Health Sciences (Lincoln, Neb.) for the fall semester. She is the daughter of John and Marlene Freeman.

Bryan College of Health Sciences dean’s list for is composed of students who were taking a 10 credit hours or more and received a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Bryan College of Health Sciences offers a Master of Science in nurse anesthesia degree, a Master of Science in nursing education degree, a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences degree, a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree, Bachelor and Associate of Science degrees with majors in diagnostic medical sonography and cardiovascular technology. Areas of specialization in cardiovascular technology offered are: adult cardiac sonography and vascular sonography. Also offered are a Graduate Certificate in simulation education and Post Undergraduate Certificate in healthcare management. Carthage College names Hahn to dean’s list

Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis., has named Diane Hahn of West Fargo, ND to its Dean’s List for academic excellence during the fall 2013 semester.

Dean’s List honors are accorded Carthage students who achieve a 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester.

Established in 1847, Carthage is a college of the liberal arts and sciences affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Situated on the Lake Michigan shore, midway between Chicago and Milwaukee, the College enrolls 2,500 undergraduate students.

Area student will enter NDSU ‘With Distinction’

Jordan Beck, son of Jerome and Jodi Beck, West Fargo, has been admitted to North Dakota State University “With Distinction.” He will enter NDSU in fall 2014 and plans to major in pre-medicine. Distinction means NDSU is acknowledging Beck as an honor student.

In high school, Beck is active in National Honor Society and basketball.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation’s top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
