In late October 1988, the Pioneer carried a photo of several women working at many long tables. They were members of the Buzzin' Dozen Homemakers Club of Brampton township in Sargent County, N.D. They were washing and polishing a donation made to Bonanzaville by one of their late members to get it ready for display, 5,000 salt and pepper shakers.
In 2003, with the completion of asbestos abatement, the way was clear to begin the demolition of the former Camelot Cleaners building at 602 Sheyenne St. Camelot had closed this site in 1996. In 1998 Tetrachlorethene, a carcinogenic compound known to cause liver and kidney damage, was found in samples taken at the Sheyenne St. location.
