The Packers’ track teams saved their strongest performances of the season so far for their home turf.

Both teams took first place out of 10 teams. The boys finished with an overall score of 187 points and the girls ended with 198 points.

The girls earned eight first-place finishes in the event, three of which came from junior Amanda Levin in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes. She was also part of the second-place 4 x 400-meter relay team.

Pacing the boys’ team was senior Jaime Heinen-Lugert, who took top honors in both the long jump and triple jump, earning two of the boys’ four first-place finishes.

The Packers will travel to Fargo South High School on Friday for a 4 p.m. invitational.
