West Fargo's volleyball team closed out its postseason run with a consolation championship at the North Dakota Class A state tournament in Minot. The West Fargo golf team took first place at the East Region tournament last Wednesday and carries the momentum of winning its last two meets into state tournament play, which began Tuesday and continues today at Edgewood Golf Course in Fargo. West Fargo's Cole Johnson finished one stroke behind Wahpeton's Justin Nelson for second place in the individual rankings.
