West Fargo High School graduate Matt Strahm had an excellent debut for his Northwest Arkansas Naturals Double A baseball team on Friday, April 8, at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale, Ark. Strahm pitched five innings, gave up no runs or walks, allowed two hits and struck out four batters in a 6-3 loss to the Frisco (Texas) Rough Riders. The Sheyenne Mustangs’ North Dakota Class A state tournament dreams were dashed on Saturday when they lost 62-51 to the Devils Lake Firebirds in a state-qualifying game at West Fargo High School.
